"Its not my jacket."

This Christmas break has left me with a load of free time on my hands. Granted, it is my own damn fault. Just yesterday, an employer of mine (one of many, I am a working girl.) asked me if I was available to help him out for a few extra hours this week.

Unfortunately, I am not.

Back in October, I thought I’d use my winter break to read all of those books I bought this semester and write in my blog and lose fifteen pounds because I’d be shopping so much and more writing and not eating, but as it turns out, I haven’t done any of those things. Luckily, I still have another three weeks, so hopefully I can do something useful with my time, like learn how to French braid or make granola. I find I’ve just been watching a lot of Tim Burton films and this reality show Crowned.

I’ve come to the conclusion, however, that even if I were to quit school, become addicted to Adderall and never sleep, and to somehow become The Cheerleader and never die, there are still a number of things I just would never have time for, in particular:

Cleaning out my closet

Learning how to use our washer and dryer

Fitness

Saving the dolphins

The World According to Jim

Vin Deisel movies

Office Christmas parties

Calling people back

After Oprah

Caring about how Jamie Lynn’s mother felt after she found out her baby was having a baby

Anne Heche

The local news

Lindsay Lohan lesbian rumors

Myspace

Jim Carrey in a dramatic role

Expiration dates

Syriana

James Frey

Ashley Tisdale's deviated septum excuse

The O’Reilly Factor

Names Jessica Alba is thinking of for her unborn child

and the music of Ricky Martin

I did however take the time to learn how to use my new cappuccino maker. That's always important.
